Enauta has just announced to the market the arrival of the new Financial and Investor Relations Director (CFO), Pedro Medeiros. The executive, who has worked with energy and commodities since 2007, assumes the leadership of the financial area with the mission of deepening the company’s relationship with investors and reinforcing the expansion and M&A strategy.
With more than 18 years’ experience in the capital markets, Mr. Medeiros has held leadership positions at Citigroup Latin America for 10 years, as well as at UBS and Pactual. Graduating in engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with specialization at Ohio State University, the executive is acknowledged as among the top professionals in the Latin American capital markets sector and has received awards in international rankings by Institutional Investor, Starmine and Reuters.
He affirms that, “I have been following Enauta since before it went public and I intend to contribute to the company’s growth. I will collaborate by providing a more strategic perspective, and have confidence in our acceleration of the value path that we will follow in the coming years. The talent we already have in our team will be fundamental for this new phase”.
With this change, Pedro Medeiros has left the position of independent member on Enauta’s supervisory board that he had held since last year.
Enauta CEO, Décio Oddone, spoke about the company’s new phase, saying that, “Enauta is in a period of transformation and is ready for the upcoming challenges. I see a stimulating environment, with great opportunities. Pedro is bringing to our team a market background that is important for the company. He has a long track record in the sector and will certainly help us to make Enauta the Brazilian independent company with the greatest potential to generate value”.
