Enauta successfully completed the connection of the new Atlanta field well 7-ATL-5H-RJS to the FPSO Petrojarl I and began production this weekend. The new well is in the ramp-up phase and is currently producing around 10,000 barrels of oil per day, bringing the total production of the Atlanta field to 16,100 barrels of oil per day.
Enauta CEO Décio Oddone explains that, “The operational start-up of this new well reinforces our commitment to increasing production in the Atlanta field, thus bringing greater stability to the company’s cash generation”.
This is the first well in the drilling campaign for three new wells, that began in November 2022, which foresees the drilling of two other new wells this year. The other wells will be completed over the course of 2023 and will await connection to the new FPSO Atlanta, within the Definitive System (DS), which is expected to come into operation in mid-2024.
In the second phase of the project, Enauta plans to drill another four wells, with the aim of further increasing the field’s production.
