Enauta (ENAT3), one of the leading independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Brazil, showed a net profit of R$ 118.4 million in the first quarter of 2023, reversing the loss of R$ 98.2 million that it recorded in the same period last year.

The EBITDAX (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and exploration expenses) reached R$ 340.9 million in the time period, compared to R$ 432.9 million in the same period of 2022, representing a reduction of 21.3%. The EBITDAX margin was 76.5%, compared to 68.8% in the first quarter of 2022.
